Once a property has been sold in the auction room, the purchaser pays a deposit, the contract is signed and a firm completion date is fixed - all there and then. This means there is no danger of the sale falling through. Properties can be sold prior to auction or afterwards, all under auction conditions if a suitable offer is agreed between both prospective purchaser and vendor with contracts exchanged in our office and a firm completion date fixed.

Buying by auction - a very attractive option

Buying under auction conditions is a much quicker and simpler way to purchase your ideal property. After finding the property you like from our office / website - www.southernhayliving.co.uk , arrange a viewing. Call into the office to view or arrange to collect a copy of the Home Information Pack plus Auction Contract. You are advised to take this to your solicitor or legal conveyance to check through.

You can make an offer at any stage, you are advised to arrange a survey and ensure you have funding in place whether by a mortgage or other means in order that you may complete the transaction. If your offer is accepted before the auction you will be required to sign an auction contract in the office and pay a 10% deposit immediately.A completion date is agreed normally 28 days after exchange and contracts are exchanged there and then in the office.
